Kathryn is one of LKC Technologies’ Biomedical Engineers as well as the Quality Manager. As a Biomedical Engineer, she focuses on customer support, service, installation, and training. As the Quality Manager, she maintains the quality management system, performs incoming inspection, assists in verification and validation of hardware and software changes, and performs final QC testing on equipment prior to shipping. Kathryn previously worked at the University of Maryland in the MEMS Sensors and Actuators Laboratory designing and fabricating impedance sensors, as well as the Army Research Laboratory researching applications of microrobotics for the Army.
Kathryn holds a M.S. in Applied Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park. In her free time Kathryn enjoys snowboarding, yoga, and hiking with her husband and dog.
